Day Eleven / April 11th
This morning we got up early in order to be packed, have breakfast eaten, and be on the bus so that we could get to the airport on time.  I got up at the required time, or a bit earlier, and packed.  I ate breakfast and then waited for some people (such as Matt, Victor, and Scott) to wake up and pack.  Soon we were on the bus and on our way to Charles de Gaulle airport.  Some of the Crowsnest guys, who were still up partying at 4:00 a.m., were still drunk, and they fell asleep on the bus to the airport.  Once we arrived there we had some hassle finding where we were supposed to go, but eventually we found it.  After we finally passed through security, some people wanted to go shopping, so they did.

I just wanted to rest, so I made my way into the flying saucer shaped terminal and sat down at a bench.  After a while I got up and bought a slice of pizza at one of the stores because I wanted to spend my change.  The plane to Montréal was an Airbus A340 and was relatively spacious. The movie that I watched on this flight was "Mighty Joe Young".

The landing in Montréal was a bit rough, and while the plane was taxiing to the terminal the captain put "Free Falling" on the PA system.  Going through Customs was annoying, but it was hassle free (as we had filled our the Customs forms while on the plane).  After a four to five hour wait we got on the plane headed for Calgary, which was an Airbus A320.  Once in Calgary, I went home almost immediately because my parents were there waiting for me.

The next day Rennie and I were the only ones at our school who were on the trip that stayed at school the whole day.  Some others came for half the day (including Victor and Carlie), and the teachers didn't show up at all.  Several weeks later we were all finally caught up on sleep and on Alberta time (8 hrs different form Paris).
